Nano Banana 2.1 vs Nano Banana Pro is now available in Google Flow, I also tested it against GPT-Image-2.5 using the exact same prompt, and for me GPT was the clear winner, Speed was basically the same, Nano Banana was only around 2 seconds faster, but the image quality was noticeably worse in my tests, It might still be in an early testing phase, so there’s definitely room for Google to optimize it a lot more and make it genuinely competitive with GPT
